Complete program in servo systems - now ready for delivery

With the Mitsubishi Melservo MR-J5, Hans Følsgaard A/S can offer a complete program of high-performance servo systems. Both servo amplifiers and motors offer a range of innovations and functions - and now the entire series is ready for delivery.

The servo systems from Mitsubishi are known for innovation, precision and reliability, and the extended Melservo MR J5 series is no exception. Hans Følsgaard A/S is a technical partner for, among other things, machine builders and specialists, and the new servo systems will be an attractive choice for applications in e.g. food and beverages, printing, life science and much more. This is not least due to a high level of speed and security.

"A good example is the servomotors with permanent magnets," explains technical manager of HF Automation, Carsten Olesen from Hans Følsgaard A/S. "They are compact, powerful and can hold torque right from the start. And with millions of pulses, they can 'feel' exactly how they feel and can stop and start without after-vibration. In addition, the new generation can remember the position in a battery-free memory. "

The amplifiers – a separate chapter

The servo amplifiers in the Mitsubishi Melservo J5 series are a chapter in themselves. They can drive one, two or three axles each, and they generate energy with each deceleration that can be used for the other motors. It helps to optimize energy costs, which have become an increasingly heavy item on the budget of manufacturing companies.

The newest models in the series are the 400 V versions MR-J5-G4, which complete the product range and, as mentioned, are available in versions for one, two or three axles. For machine builders, it is interesting that they not only save energy, but also precious space, just as they simplify the need for cabling. It is benefits that add value to the solutions.

Connected across all devices

Via Ethernet, the servo systems can be connected and integrated with the CC-Link IE TSN technology (Time Sensitive Network). It enables 1 Gbps transmission speeds and enables synchronization across all connected devices such as safety devices and all control devices connected to the same standard – be it inverters, I/O devices, etc.

CC-Link IE TSN supports TCP/IP communication and is ideal for building a cross-functional infrastructure in a demanding manufacturing company. Since multiple protocols are supported on the same network connection, it simplifies cabling and setup. However, it is part of the picture that the Mitsubishi Melservo MR J5 series also supports a number of other technologies and protocols, so the customer is not locked in.

Standardization opens up for individualization

"With the greatly improved delivery situation and the addition of the new components, we can offer machine builders and specialists a very broad program that can 'talk' together and be used for high-performance applications," says technical manager Carsten Olesen and concludes: "No two companies are the same , but thanks to the standardization of components, we can more easily deliver individual solutions that raise productivity."

At Hans Følsgaard A/S, they are delighted to have the complete range to choose from, and they are ready to advise on the choice of components, composition, installation and operation. Contact HF Automation for further information.
